More about Indigenous Canada Course

This 12 lessons course comes from the Faculty of Native studies covering Indigenous histories and contemporary issues in Canada. One can complete the course at own pace or simply follow the suggested setup and go week by week. There are no hard and fast rules to complete the program. The best part is, everything is 100% online, all you need is a decent internet connection and device to start learning.

For those who are not native English speakers, If you find the accent of the instructors a bit difficult to understand, don’t worry, you can turn on the subtitles. Currently, subtitles are available in Arabic, French, Portuguese (European), Italian, Vietnamese, German, Russian, English, Spanish.

From an Indigenous perspective, the program covers key Issues such as, facing Indigenous people today from a historical and critical perspective highlighting national and local Indigenous-settler relations. Once you complete this 12 Lessons program, you get a shareable certificate.
